Last year, The Information Systems Society in the collaboration of the Students’ Union organised the Summer Outing 2007 on 19 Dec.2008, which was great:

This year, the End of Year party was nice πŸ™‚ . Given that it was our first time to such party, we found it cool. Was much surprised by the good organisation of the party: secured compound – fencing, UoM security officers, Police officers , the food arrangement was OK – a Rs. 80 voucher was made available to UoM students, the decoration was OK, small Christmas tree, rose ribbons, good lighting, nicely decorated Raised Plaza, the atmosphere was OK not too hot or cold (beautiful gurls nicely dressed everywhere :D), not too crowded. It was a nice opportunity to meet some friends there, whom you can’t get to see and have a nice chat everyday (ya..uni life is quite a busy one). Here is a bit of description of my day yest.:

I had in mind to go to the launching of iPhone 3G @ Rose Hill and went there after taking some books at the Library (yu yu, I finally got this book: The Inmates are Running the Asylum) , then went to meet a friend at his shop, where much time was spent talking about Business. Bad news the launching was already over 😦 snif snif

Back to Reduit Campus, we witnessed the crowd getting bigger and you had to present your ID to be able to get inside. This done, you have a cocktail. Then you enjoy the Rock concert. It was great πŸ˜€ I was really happy to listen to those young rockers singing – Rape Me by Nirvana!! Hats off to you guys, keep Rocking πŸ˜€

Then time to take the voucher and “buy” something to eat. Hmm, had to search for veg. food also and Biryani was a good choice. Eating finished, gurls watching a bit (lolz – to get the food digested) and the ‘La piste de Dance’ was opened!!!!!

Great hours of dancing, dancing and dancing………………………………:D These were the best moments of the party.

Back outside Raised Plaza to take some rest, it was fun to see a sort of ‘Tektonik competition’. It was informal but it was great. Those guys were really talented.

Some socialising and eating ice-cream. (repos, repos)

Then we danced again πŸ˜€

Finally party over, you could see a bit of traffic jam at the Reduit junction. The police officers were at work. Many students were heading off at Lakepoint for more partying, whilst those who were tired – Home Sweet Home.

It was a great day yest! Long live UoM Student Life !!!
