Dear Mr Ramjeeawon

We are delighted to advise you that your application to upgrade your
membership has been accepted.

Please allow 7-10 days (UK) or 21 days (overseas) for the receipt of your
membership pack, which will include your membership card and membership

Should you have any further questions regarding your membership, please do
not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Department on 0845 300 4417

Which means that I have upgraded my Membership from Student to Associate. I am now an Associate member of the British Computer Society. Coooooooooooooool 😀

The ever more cool stuff is the post-nominal title: AMBCS.

A strange co-incidence, exactly one year and 1 day ago, I received my Student Membership.

Yupi yu, I am happy!

I have bee reading your blogs. Sounds interesting. Happy to quote that you are promoting BCS in your own way.

May I inform you that BCS is undergoing great chnages these days..It is in the process of re branding. Maybe…it will come to change its name in order to fit in the lead global position it had taken. May you also know that Australian Comouter Society and American Computer Society are willing to use the CITP of BCS for their own members. This means that BCS members will be world employable!!! That’s a wonderful peace of news.

Also, teh Mauritius Section of the BCS carries out periodic events which may interest you. Watch out for the news in the press

    Kind Regards

I try to stay abreast the BCS events by visiting the BCS Mauritius website and the mailing list. Indeed, we notice a redesign of the website which is good:
