Hard work for the coming few semester weeks

Hard work, originally uploaded by NikolaT.

University Week 11 has brightly started with the bye-bye of Summer Time in Mauritius. Feeling back to live the old and original GMT + 4 now! However today, it was raining cats and dogs!

Hmm, the main theme of this blog post is concerning the month of April and May. Yes, the last weeks of University semester and in May -> Final exams!

According to my dear classmates, during our conversation (which is usually dominated by Football and sports), we concluded that essential Time Management is very important in the coming weeks.

Some ask lecturers: “Monsieur, couman bizin revizer?” (Sir, how to revise?) And the answer is:

Revise in group. Do groupwork. If you revise alone, you are stupid!

Revision will include tough preparation for the 3-hour paper set by the respective module coordinators; there are also tests in Week 12 and assignments to be submitted.

Furthermore, BCS exams are due in 20th, 28th & 29th April. The Diploma level is, as expected, up to the 2nd year of British University degree. I carefully monitor the progress of my revision via the Gannt chart stuck in my wall (not Facebook wall do :D)

Euhh, time to gather Bioptimum Memory Tabs and Nescafe…..How do you burn the midnight oil you (enfin if you do so ein..)?

  2. Yes, I agree, it depends on people. However for Database systems module, I personally find groupwork very effective.

However for Marketing module, I prefer take my fav marketing book and find a damn good place in the library (which seems to be jam-packed with students revising nowadays).

Cool you got an A. reminds me of revising alone on the tree as on this blog post:
