Communicate with Facebook

Well, Facebook is a Social Networking Site with cool features like Wall or poke and the platform for other applications or Games to run.  According to InformationWeek, “Time named founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg its Person of the Year, “The Social Network” movie sealed his myth in celluloid, and the social media mover-and-shaker was immortalized on the Simpsons. The kudos continued when, in December, employees named Facebook the best place to work, according to, and gave Zuckerberg a 96 rating out of a possible 100.”

More interestingly, the newly implemented Facebook Messages, permit a new way of communicating on the Internet, You can have your <username> email address.. You decide how you want to talk to your friends: via SMS, chat, email or Messages. They will receive your message through whatever medium or device is convenient for them, and you can both have a conversation in real time. Conversation History: You can see everything you’ve discussed with each friend as a single conversation. And finally Social Inbox – need to use it in order to understand it more.

FB Msg instead of Email?

Facebook Messages could be what Google Wave was meant to be. Given that Facebook has an arsenal to facilitate the dominance of future e-communications, Could Facebook Messages be a Gmail Killer?

Facebook has the challenge to get Mobile phone users to communicate seamless – Text Messaging integrated in it. Most probably the creation of Facebook phone is a rumour. But if in case a smartphone by Facebook and with appropriate data package with network provider, you imagine how you would communicate with your contacts found in your SIM contacts and Facebook contacts?


The 26-year old led company is evolving at a rapid pace with lots of products affecting our daily lives – socialising with persons, using web applications and NOW Communicating with other people. Let’s see its evolution in the Smartphone era.. Anyways, FB is becoming bigger than the BIG thing!
