It was a challenging experience for this play direction. It required a lot of research work, creativity, teamwork and dedication. It is with great satisfaction that the performance during the finals went OK, despite a ‘catastrophic’ stage rehearsal. Fact is that, participating groups are not used to the Indira Gandhi Centre for Indian Culture as traditionally the festival is held at Serge Constantin Theatre. Hence we had to adjust according to a new technical team and stage composition.

For the Setting also, it is for the first time that The Direction tried many things – multiple set, shadow effect, realistic fireplace, fountain on stage, audience querying/participation etc..I would like to heartily thank the stage managers, the light technicans, sound technicians and all those who have contributed to the success of this play.

Thanks to Mr. Roshan Napaul for the fountain, to Anup Motye’s Uncle for a big help with the setting, to the Autism specialists for their contribution to Christie Boones’ character – Mr. and Mrs. Dr. Jean Marc Michel, Mithesh Soobarah, Gina Ponoosamy, Thank you Arya Samaj Charles Regnaud Curepipe for the rehearsal location, Thank you to the parents who have trusted Trinetra Arts. A BIG Thanks to ANUP MOTYE for his ever dedication and commitment to the success of the play. Very talented Actor and Set Designer.

Many congratulations to you and all the actors, technical support and all those who have made this such a successful production. We look forward to seeing the DVD version and your next project.
Well done! You have a very talented team. The best actress award is well deserved and we felt honoured to be involved in developing the character even in a small way.
    Well done everyone.
